why does wood not burn at room temperature but white phosphors does

wood has low temperature and white phosphorus react with air fast

We know that ignition temperature is the minimum temperature to which a combustible substance must be heated, before it catches fire.

As the ignition temperature of phosphorus is 35°C it easily catches fire in room temperature.The room temperature is higher than 35°C.Thus phosphorus ignites.

On the other hand wood has an ignition temperature much higher than the room temperature.Its ignition temperature is 180°C.Thus external heat is required to raise the temperature of the wood and then only it will ignite.

So wood does not ignite in room temperature.
