The International Date Line is an imaginary line that runs From the North Pole to the South Pole.

If it would have passed through the land there would be a difference in the day.

The person would have to adjust their cocks by 23 hours.

This means that people on both the sides of the line will have different days.

So no country wants this to happen and therefore it is an imaginary line.
