why dogs bark at silent nights?

I don't have exact answer but there are many superstitious that dogs see ghost at night and to aware us they bark.
But it's not true that they ghost many scientist believe that when a person feel boar so, want to do something just like that when dogs feel boar they bark and by hearing that many others also bark to make theirs fun.

dogs dont just simply bark just like when they like to bark there will be some reasons for them to do so

its not superstitious that dogs see ghost and then bark and moreover they have some senses which is being proved scientifically and they can hear dogs hear ultrasound and they bark when they sense some unusual sounds and there are no proof for the existence of ghosts nor for their non existence.
Dogs are just part of the nature and we cant simply say its superstitious because its in hindu culture they just makes us aware that something is there and even at the times of earthquakes dogs can understand its occurrence much before it
dogs may bark at night because some other dog has entered its territory also and may be if any person comes to place etc
