why dogs pant during summer ?

In summer, the temerature is too high. The dogs internal temperature is high. So in order to reduce their internal temperature, dogs pant. when they pant, the wateer molecules present on its mouth gets evaporate by absorbing some heat from body since evaporation is a cooling process. hence, their internal temperature decrease. so thats why dogs pant during hot summer days.
