Kabaddi is a game in which the defenders have to get hold of the raider in a specific allotted time.
Soil has rough, big and coarse particles. Rubbing hands with soil increase friction.
This facilitate the defenders to get a better grip of their opponent and score a point. Friction opposes motion and hence raider will not be able to escape.

the question is alittle silly if you are in class 8. Anyway, kabaddi players rub their hands in soil to increase friction and increase their grip upon their opponents . Acrobats also use this technique to increase their grip.
