Answer:The two magnetic field lines do not intersect each other because if they do it means at the point of intersect the compass needle is showing two different directions which is not possible.

Answer:

Given :

2 magnetic lines are provided

To explain:

Why they cannot intersect ??

Reason:

Let us consider 2 magnetic field lines originating from a source.

Now of they intersect , then at the point of intersection, 2 tangents can be drawn each representing magnetic field intensity.

So for a single source, there are 2 directions of field intensity which is not possible.

So, the lines cannot intersect.
