Why don’t airplanes undergo expansion while flying due to heat by friction, and if they do expand, then why doesn’t their balance also go wrong?

Basically airplanes are designed in such a way so that the air resistance is negligible. the aerodynamic shape of airplane helps it to minimize the resistance. Yet airplanes suffer from resistance but it is not enough to get heat.
Ummm let heat is enough to expansion. for security purposes airplanes are made up of metal pieces not of a big piece (sheet)
bcoz of these small sheets the expansion can be reduced and they overlap each other due to which they don't expand.
Moreover if it gets a little bite expand than every metal sheet get equally expansion and the balance remains same
