Why don't birds get electrocuted when they land on an electric wire?

Actually ... many dont know about this ..... many have misconception about ..
that bird have no blood so they not get electric shock .. but reason is not that...
the real concept is .... when bird Perch on live wire ... due to ... small distance between .. foot of bird .. the potential difference is doesnt create so there is no flow of current .. so the bird .. didnt get electric shock..
