Why don't birds get electrocuted when they sit on live wires?

if we touch any two live current wires cumpalsaury we will get a shock but the bird's touches only one wire

Electric current didn't pass through them Because they are not good conductors of electricity. their cells and tissues do not offer electrons an easier route than the copper wire they are already travelling along
