The bangle makers could not organize themselves in to a cooperative because they were trapped in the viscous circle of Sahukars, middlemen, policemen, bureaucrats and politicians. They toil day and night but are not payed with appropriate wages and are stepped in poverty. If they try to organize themselves, they would be beaten by police and put in jail. Moreover, their children are also compelled to join the same trade at an early age and cannot dare to take up any other profession. Years of hardships have killed all their hopes and dreams.
