why don't the birds get electrocuted when they land on an electric wire?

Birds can sit on power lines and not get electric shocks because the electricity is always looking for a way to get to the ground. The birds are not touching the ground or anything in contact with the ground, so the electricity will stay in the power line.

when they sit on only one wire so there is no flow of current circularly but they stand on two wires one leg in on one wire and second leg in on second via so there is current is flow and electron moves
