Why don't we find moss plants in warm and dry place?

Because dry and warm place is not adequate for them. They need the place where temperature is below 15 degree Celsius like in frozen areas.

mosses require cool ,moist and dark environment.They mostly prefer moist environment  and a shady area .this is the main reason why we do not find mosses in warm and dry places
