HEY MATE HEAR IS YOUR ANSWER
A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon enters the Earth's shadow. A solareclipse occurs when the Moon's shadow falls on the Earth. They do not happen every month because the Earth's orbit around the sun is not in the same plane as the Moon's orbit around the Earth.

See, moon revolves around the earth in fixed orbits, but it is not always necessary that moon with every revolution, comes between the path of light from sun to earth. The moon may have a different pathway i. e., the orbit of moon and earth are on different planes and sometimes, very rarely due to the elliptical shape of the orbits, the moon comes in the path of light that comes from sun to earth, causing eclipses.
That is why we don't see eclipses every month.
