why don't we need to digest micronutrients​

Micro-nutrients such as vitamin, amino acids, sugar etc. are are as compared to very small which does not required to further break down to be absorbed by the cells, they can enter by the tiny pores of the cytoplasm. And the nutrients which neither digested nor absorbed, are carried out by the blood cells and excreted through the excretory systems as the waste product.
