Why don't we see our image when we look at a wall? Does that imply failure of the laws of reflection ?

You get diffuse reflection off a wall instead because of the rough surface, and as result, the light rays don't converge (or appear to converge) like they do in a mirror, so you don't see an image form. If you painted your walls with a very smooth layer of paint, it would look shiny and you might see yourself in it.

We can"t see our image on a wall because wall"s surface is rough and the reflection occurring on uneven surface is irregular reflection. So, the rays, after reflection, move to different directions. Images are not formed due to irregular reflections.
