Well it depends on your summer. I've lived in many areas and some areas “summer" is cool or damp & cool and can even be called cold.

Take where I live now. The locals complained last month it was hot & humid… as I (visited Hallandale Beach & Key West) and guy (from Tampa) joked they'd hide indoors 24/7 with the a/c on if they ever went to Florida if the weather now is hot to them.

I don't feel heat like others having grown up in hot humid areas (it's gotta be real hot for me to be uncomfortable/sweat just walking around as example) and so wearing a sweater is something that would not bother me. In fact today's about 22-25 degrees Celsius with 60-70% humidity and I've got cargo pants and a wool long sleeved sweater on. Does not bother me in the least… haven't even broken a sweat and gotta do a lot if walking around here
