Why dont we usually bother about reports regarding riots terrrorist atttacks or frreedom struggle?

Strange though it may seem , but yes indeed , we are none other than god's supposedly best creations - the humans ..!!
Humans are very selfish and self - centred . Till the time their safety isn't compromised , they aren't bothered about what else is hapenning around in the world .
Talking about riots and freedom struggle , practically how many , do you think are really patriotic and feel the same for their countrymen ..?! Ah! Not many isn't it ?! Some people even think that the ones agitating out there in the streets are fools . But this is just their own perspective . What they fail to realise , however , is that there's a valid reason behind everything happening at every place on this earth . We only think about our comforts and needs ; if someone around us is deprived of the benefits which we are lucky to have , we don't care about them and neither do we support them in their struggle ..
Talking about terrorism , we just keep our fingers crossed and thank our stars that we aren't the victims . Look how inhumane and selfish humans can be ?!
We think such mishaps and riots keep happening all around the globe , so , we take them for granted ! That explains why we are usually not bothered about such news and turn a blind eye towards them . We simply try to ignore them as long as we are not affected by it in any way ...!!
