why dont you able to compress a wooden block

Hey user , here's your answer..

We can't compress a wooden block as it is SOLID and solids are incompressible as they have very less intercellular spaces between the molecules.

Answer is :-

✔ We don't able to compress a wooden block because in solids the gaps btw the molecules are so small. they don't allow the Compressibility on it. Nd also due the highest intermolecular attraction btw the particles .
