why dose gravity pull us down?

Because gravity is the gravitational force exerted by the Earth on all bodies on or above the Earth's surface and gravitational force is a pulling force...

Gravity pulls everything downward because earth has magnetic field and it attracts eveything towards it in its atmosphere.
