Why dowe fall in the forward direction when a moving bus brqkes to a stop and fall backward when it acceleration from rest

because when we are moving suddenly bus stops our body and legs keep on the tendency to move but suddenly due to rest we may go to fall

We fall backward due to inertia of rest. Our body tend to remain in same position and hence we fall backward
