Sadao was not able to kill his country enemy bcz Sadao was doctor from profession.his work is to save the life of in need person.so he did medical care of his enemy nd fulfill his duty to save the life of American enemy

Doctor Sadao could not kill the American soldiers even after being aware of the fact that they were his country's enemy.This may sound unpatriotic of him but he did his duty as doctor and saved their lives instead.
