why drill machine is said to have translatory motion and rotatory motion? why not vibratory? Only the part spinning comes back to its original position and not the whole body... this is the definition of vibratory motion and the drill machine follows all this... so why is it only rotatory and translatory? pls help with explaination.

When drilling bit starts rotation and come in the contact with workpiece the dead center or chisel edge start penetration in work piece
And cause remove of material from work pieces and due to this the drilling moves inside the work piece and create hole.
