Why droplets of water is collected on the surface of a glass filled with ice cubes?

this is because the water vapour loses it latent heat of vaporisation as soon as it comes in contact with the glass filled with water..so gets converted into liquid and sattle on the glass

When vapor gets condensed, they appear as water droplets. When an ice glass is kept in open air,the water vapour present in the surrounding air condenses on the glass. The water molecules are slowed down and stick to the surface is cold. These water droplets are seen as dew on the surface of the glass.
