This is complete physical explaination. The dust particles are stick to carpet due to potential energy
And the carpet has arranged such a way that its friction is more so when when we beat it with stick the particles get disturbed, some falls down due to loss of friction and some remains in it
Simply every thing is related with physics.

Initially, both the carpet and the dust are at rest.
When the carpet is shaken or beaten with a stick, it is set into motion will the dust remain in the state of rest due to inertia of rest.
Thus, dust falls down due to the pull of gravity.
