why dust particles appear to move when light passes thru a dark room?

because when the whole room is full of dark and only one place is lighted our eyes give their full effort to see in light and also the dust particles catch the focus .........that's why we can see.....

Because every particle can reflects light rays towards our eye when light focussed on it. As the dust particles are very tiny, for the maximum effect. The light should be only focussed on dust particles leaving the rest of the room dark.
