Culture, Society & Politics are co-related with each other and to realise the relationship among them we have to start from the beginning.
When men first came on the earth there is no existence of above three words ( Culture, Society & Politics). Men would hunt other animals and collect fruits for mitigating their appetite. For preventing themselves from the attack of other animals they started to live in a group. They used to lead a vagabond life with their pet animals but after learning the process of cultivation they started to live in a permanent place by which the concept of villages was started. From this time the SOCIETY was appeared in men's life.
From fear of the natural calamities like storm, flood, drought etc men started to believe that one super natural is responsible for these natural calamities and started to perform different rituals in order to please the Super natural power. From this time the religion was born and with this different CULTURE were created in the society.
Wealth on the earth (specially land) is limited but desire of men is unlimited. For this reason, fighting among different group was started in demand of wealth like land, pet animals etc. From this time the necessity of a leader to lead the group or society was realised and the leader was turned into the King in future. With birth of the kingship, the POLITICS came into existence in man’s society.
So this is the History of the existence of Politics, Culture and Society on the earth. These three influences each other and among them Politics is the most influential. Politics can bring change in the society and culture. For example, celebrating International New Year is the culture of European countries, but now it has become the culture of this country also and the main reason behind it that India was a colony of England. Being a colony of Britain a many of European culture has been mixed with our Indian culture. Today our dressing style has almost changed. Our food habit has also been influenced by some foreign foods. We have started to use many foreign words during our conversation and we have become used to these words as same as our mother toungh. So this is a fact that our culture has been modified by the culture of foreign invaders who established their rules in our country once upon a time. If we observe the ancient history of India we can found that before reign of Muslim rulers the art and culture of this country was reached to its highest peak at the time of Gupta dynasty as the Gupta rulers established a stable and powerful dynasty for a long time which helped in flourishing art and culture.
The social reforms which were made by our reformers all with the support of rulers of that time. In 1991 with the new economic policy Globalization privatisation & Libarization were welcomed by the then government which have brought big change in our society. Due to effect of consumerism we have become more self centre. The concept of big family is going to be abolished. In middle and higher class families, gender discrimination is going to the end gradually. So that it can be said that a political desicion may bring huge change in social structer of a country.
