Why each two bodies of different masses if dropped from same distance reaches the ground at same time?

if u consider the air resistance negligible then both bodies reaches same time.
but,
if u consider air resistance, then the heavier body must be reached first then light body, because air resistance much cause effects on light body in comperrision to heavier body.
according to Galileo's law and Newton 2nd law..
