Why earth is callled a blue planet?

Ans: 1. The earth is surrounded by water on all the sides
2. The water is present in water bodies like rivers ,Ocean ,Seas, lakes etc
3. The ocean holds 96.5% of water and the remaining is found in the form of water vapours ice and underground water.
4. All the water bodies cover 71% of the total volume of the earth and the remaining is covered by the land
5. Hence seeing Earth from space shows the water blue in colour and does the the earth is called watery planet or blue planet.

The Earth Is Actually Called The Blue Planet Cause The Earth is Filled  3/4 Percent of Water! And Half of the whole Life Is On Water.
