The Earth is located in the “habitable zone” not too close and not too far around the sun. One degree closer to the sun would be too hot, and one degree farther would be too cold. The Earth is located just on its right orbit.
Earth has an insulating atmosphere to protect the surface from harmful electromagnetic radiations from the sun. Oxygen doesn’t get burned due to 78% of nitrogen present in the atmosphere, and 20% oxygen is just enough for us to breathe.
Earth has an abundant amount of all the chemical ingredients of life — carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus and sulfur (CHNOPS). Carbon enters easily into bonds with other carbon atoms. It forms vast chains that act as a nice skeleton for other atoms to bond to: perfect building blocks for large organic molecule
