anandimenon: Einstein never got a Nobel prize for Theory of relativity...In fact he got the Nobel for Photoelectric effect explanation in the year 1921(awarded in 1922).
anandimenon: He should definitely have got a Nobel Prize for the relativity theory though...it's brilliant and fascinating, i always go awe when i read about it...

 The Nobel Prize in Physics 1921 was awarded to Albert Einstein "for his services to Theoretical Physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect".
