In a country if democratic system is there then it needs a government and government can be formed with political party only and political party needs members to form a party and at last members should be those which can do some welfare for the country for its development so the members should be decided from the local people of the country ,for all this it needs election. Therefore election are important in democracy. Without it democratic systen can not be run.
