Why electri iron gets more heat up while fan do not?

first of all heat produced is directly proportional to resistance.

next fact is that elec iron has a heating element (usually of nichrome) which has high resistance whereas fan has copper wires with very low resistance .

so more resistance - more heat and electric iron gets hot

less resistance less heat

fan does not

(although copper does not have 0 resistance so even fan heats up(some of the electrical energy becomes heat) after long use )
