Electric lines of force due to two positive charges start from either charge and end at infinity. In all cases we see that electric lines of force , either from infinity or from a positive charge never come back to the same point , and hence they don't form closed loops.

Answer:

Explanation:

if they will form close loops then the tangent at any point will direct in different directions which is not possible.

electroststic force is a conservative force so they dont form closed loops as is known work done in a closed loop is 0
