Because of the changing atmosphere its optical density changes because of which the far pole appears to be bent.

Electric poles appear bent when seen from far due to the phenomenon of refraction of light. As the poles are viewed from a long distance the atomosphere at the place where the observer is located is different from that of the poles. As a result the optical density of the atmosphere at these two places are also different and therefore refraction of light occurs. So the electric poles appear bent.
