They ARE visible to human eye,
Red, blue, green, yellow, orange colors are all part of electromagnetic spectrum that are visible to human eye.
The part which is not visible are UV,X-RAY,GAMMA RAY which have lower wavelength than visible light and infrared, radio waves have higher wavelength than visible.
Even for visible spectrum eye is not equally responsive to all colors, it responses most to green color and least to blue/violet and red which are extremes of visible EM spectrum

Electromagnetic waves are not visible to human eye as human eyes can only see the light rays that are from 4000 Armstrong to 8000 Armstrong and electromagnetic waves are of different wavelength that is upper than the visible light rays wavelength.
