Elephants and whales can hear frequencies much lower (infrasonic sound) than the range of human audibility. Elephants are able to hear a sound coming from up to about 8 kilometers away. The distances from which they can communicate with each other is also amazing.

elephant has a hearing range from 5hz about to 16000hz which means they have amazing infrasound hearing (they can hear very low or deep notes)..
