Why endocrine glands are called as ductless gland? How do they send hormnoes to the target hormones?

The endocrine glands do not have ducts and release the hormones directly into the blood stream. The are also called ductless glands. Hormones generally do not act the place where they produced in the body. They are taken by the blood to a particular body part called the target site, where they act.
