Endocrine glands are ductless glands because they do not have specials ducts as the exocrine glands. They release their secretions directly into the blood stream. Thus the hormones travel all throughout the body through the blood stream and reach the target organs.

because of the fact that their secretions are released directly into the blood, not to any tubes or ducts.
