i) they don't have to move around ( no locomotion)
ii) they body has parenchyma ( dead tissue)
iii) plants spend much less amount of energy on wear and tear as compared to animals, leading to less use of energy.
iv) majority of the food plants intake is used in their growth, whereas in animals it is near more than 15% ( just 4% in humans)
