Heya
As we all know that friction is an essential part of or life. Friction play a crucial role in our day to day activities .When we drive any vehicle then friction comes in play . There are wheels which help them to provide a better grip to vehicle so that it can run easily . Thus in order to reduce the friction accumulated the engineers have preferred using 6 or 8 in heavy vehicles

As we know that P ∝ 1/A.
Engineers have preferred to use six or eight wheels for heavy vehicles.
Due to large number of wheels the area of contact on the ground over which the weight of the heavy vehicle acts is increased.
This reduce the pressure (P ∝ 1/A) exerted by the vehicle on the ground.
