Why enzymes are know as biocatyalist?

Enzymes are organic molecules synthesized by our cells to speed up reactions in our bodies. Catalase, for example, is a protein synthesized by our cells to break down hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is a toxic oxidizing agent. Its natural decomposition is too slow. So out body uses enzymes as a ‘catalyst’ to speed up the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. Enzymes are called ‘biology’ because there are a lot of inorganic catalysts, like iron, which also catalyse reactions. However, iron is not synthesized by our cells, thus it is not biological.
