Axial bonds are longer than equatorial because the no. of repulsions faced by them from electrons of other atoms is more than that at equatorial positions.
PCl5 is sp3d hybridised molecule.
It has trigonal bipyramidal geometry.
In this case the axial bonds are slightly longer than the equatorial bonds.
