why evaporation cause cooling?

Hey!

Evaporation causes cooling because it absorbs the energy (latent heat) from the surroundings as well the human body, causing us to feel cool.

Applications:

|| We wear cotton clothes in summer.

|| We feel cool when acetone is placed on our palm.

Evaporation cause cooling because it is a surface phenomena means it takes heat from the body (to evaporate)on which water is kept and when heat released from the object it became cool. hope it will help u
