lets take an example to explain it when we put acetone or perfume on our palm the particles of acetone take heat from our palm and evaporates . so the heat energy is taken from our palms so our palm feel cooool so evaporation cause cooling

Evaporation produces cooling as the particles at the surface of the liquid gain energy from the surroundings and change into vapour . Hence , they produce cooling effect .
