My opinion about this topic-
Because most of the people never want others to be perfect. They feel jealousy. They see every thing but always busy in trying to find something or somewhat wrong in you so that they can make you harass, and shy.
They never see the goodness in you even if you will help him/her.....
as the books' cover can be torn, but it keeps the whole copy safe, similarly dont think about those people who judges you by your outer covering, do your own goodness as you did, and see one day they will come for your help....
NEVER JUDGE ANYONE BY THEIR OUTER APPEARANCE.
