why eyes are called receptors whereas muscle is referred as an effector ?

Answer: eyes are referred as receptors becouse eyes are sense organ and receptors are cells or group of cells present in sense organ

While muscles are effector becouse effector are part of body which can respond to stimulus according to instructions sent from the nervous system

Explanation: simply u can explain eyes are receptor because they are sensitive to particular stimuli and it send signal along nerve cell to CNS

and muscles are effector because they can response to every stimulus according to instructions sent from nervous system.
