why F show +1 oxidation in HOF?​

The HOF compound consists of OH- and F+ ions. Also this compound is neutral as it has no charge on it. The oxidation state of OH- ion is -1. And hence the oxidation state of F+ ion is +1 due to which the atom becomes neutral.
