Hi there!,

You must be thinking that farmers produce so much food, and must be very rich. but not necessarily.

Most farmers who grow crops, sell their harvest. They just get enough money to  work out for maybe a day or week. They use that money for their expenses and food to eat. They also don't have good, strong houses and need to sleep on ground. The farmers have to sell whatever they grow and get money. This money gets used up.It all also sometimes depend on the climate and weather. If there is no rain for a month or so, then there is no growth of crops. If that happens, the farmers are not able to sell and earn money.

Hope it helps!

Farm labourers do not have their own land .They are landless. So that work on others land for money.
And there ,they are exploited, not given the whole money too.
And due to a lot of competition for work ,they also accept to work in low wages too.
So,they are always in loss and are therefore poor.
#hope it helps.
