Why farmers whp grow bengal gram do not apply nitrogenous fertogenous fertilidzer?

because Bengal gram is a leguminous plant i.e. it has symbiotic relationship with a bacterium which fixes atmospheric nitrogen into suluble nitrates and nitrites
