Why federations are preferred these days.

In Unitary government, the, sub-units are subordinate to the middle, though in an organization, Central government can't infringe on the privileges of State governments.

Unitary government has just a single level of government while a government has at least two levels of government.

It helps in making organization successful and effective.

(i) It helps in making administration effective and  efficient.

(ii) It helps to accommodate all diverse groups.
